Energy Efficiency Champion – Industrial Sector

Irving Paper has been involved with Efficiency NB’s Large Industrial Program since 2008 when it implemented its first heat recovery project.  That project was a huge success, resulting in a 13 percent reduction in fossil fuels.  Several initiatives to reduce energy waste followed this project and led to the company’s focus on improving energy performance using an energy management information system (EMIS).
