New Kent Store in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland
It was a foggy morning, but the skies cleared and the sun shone for a beautiful opening day!
June 23, 2012 was a very busy day for the 50 new employees at the Conception Bay South (CBS) Kent Store location. A fantastic turn out - many visitors from in and around the community were treated to giveaways at the door and free Tim Horton’s coffee and Timbits. They also had juice boxes and granola bars for the kids, and no celebration is complete without a cake. Customers also had a chance to win one of three great prizes, which included a BBQ, a lawnmower, or a $500 garden center gift card. Everyone who made a purchase received a free eco bag as they left!
The CBS staff gave contractors and professional customers in the area a VIP event and sneak peek into the new location on Thursday, June 21. They were pleased with the attendance, having entertained many welcome contractor customers.
Here’s to a great team of committed, hardworking individuals. Kent is thrilled to be welcomed in CBS Newfoundland!
