Student Opportunities

Co-op Positions

J.D. Irving, Limited has strong partnerships with local universities and community colleges. We provide various work term opportunities across our diverse operations throughout the year. The recruitment schedule for co-op placements is as follows;

• September/October - Co-op postings are advertised for the January - April work term
• January/February - Co-op postings are advertised for the May - August work term
• April/May - Co-op postings are advertised for September - December work term

All co-op postings are advertised through our partnering Universities and Community Colleges Co-operative Education Offices.

Summer Student Positions

J.D. Irving, Limited Summer Student positions are posted in February/March for summer positions that begin early May until the end of August. Students must have completed 1 year of post secondary education, be returning to school in the fall, and be in good academic standing to qualify for these positions.
