Working Toward a Healthier Environment

Fishing: Working toward a healthier environment

Within the cool, clear waters of the Restigouche River come sounds of rippling water as Atlantic Salmon make their return from the ocean to the streams where they were spawned. In another area, under the rich forest canopy endangered plants are being protected.  At manufacturing sites, dedicated teams are improving air and water quality.

J.D. Irving, Limited is acting now to ensure that these and other areas of ecological importance remain healthy and vibrant through our:

  • Habitat conservation
  • Green initiatives
  • Stringent policies
  • Environmental education projects
  • Extensive scientific research
