Irving Limited, has agreed to purchase the retail operations of Central Supplies of Antigonish, Nova Scotia effective December 31, 2016.  Central, owned and operated by Mr. Steve Smith for 40 years, has 7 retail locations and one Truss Plant.

A five day ascent brought Garrett Dixon, Management Trainee in Sales for Midland Transport, to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, and fourth highest of the Seven Summits. To compare, Mount Everest, the Earth's highest mountain, is 8,848m; Mount Kilimanjaro is 5,895m.

JDI Donates $25,000 to Purchase Musical Instruments for Sistema Saint John

Saint John: This fall, children in the Sistema New Brunswick (NB) Saint John Centre are learning to play on brand new instruments thanks to a $25,000 donation from J.D. Irving Limited (JDI). The contribution will purchase a timpani set for the Centre’s new percussion program plus ten cellos and four double basses for the strings program.
