September 30, 2019
Irving Forest Products is pleased to donate much needed funds to Maine School Administration District #32 (MSAD 32) for improvements to their soccer field.
"Maine School Administrative District #32 and Ashland School District School are excited to enter into this partnership with Irving Forest Products. The donation has allowed us to complete the project of constructing a broadcast booth and purchasing rain enclosures for the soccer complex at Ashland School District." says Gehirg Johnson, Superintendent of Schools for MSAD 32.
The Ashland District School is located in Aroostook County, where the company has worked for over 70 years. These businesses include a sawmill, a rail line, and a team of forestry professionals in our woodlands group. To learn more about our local impact in Maine, read our Outcome Based Forestry report.
"This generous gift by Irving Forest Products will be enjoyed and appreciated by all those presently associated with the MSAD 32 school system, as well as by many future generations of Ashland Hornet fans." adds Johnson.
"We are a proud part of this community! We live, work, and are raising our children here. The school is the center of a lot of activities for local youth and we are pleased to help out." says Josh Philbrook, Mill Manager at the Ashland Sawmill.
