$200,000 donation to Haut-Madawaska Medical Centre in Northern New Brunswick

J.D. Irving, Limited proudly presented a $200,000 donation to the Haut-Madawaska Medical Centre expansion. The donation will help fund additional resources for the centre including adequate space for doctors and a nurse practitioner, examination rooms, and an emergency room.

Mayor of Clair Pierre Michaud explained the need for the investment in medical care for the region. “In 2015 the yearly number of visitors for this clinic was over 17,000. With increasing demand on our health services, we must look to the future of care and improve our facilities that are currently too small to benefit medical staff and patients alike. Those who will benefit will be the people of Haut-Madawaska. Thank you to J.D. Irving, Limited for this generous contribution.”
