Supporting Growers at Cavendish Agri: Brent Campbell

After nearly 15 years with Cavendish Agri Services, Brent Campbell has advanced from a new graduate to a trusted Sales Representative who supports growers across eastern Prince Edward Island. His journey reflects steady learning, continuous growth and a deep commitment to agriculture in the region.

When he first joined Cavendish Agri, Brent worked closely with both the Sales and Operations teams.

“I benefited greatly from experienced Sales Managers in the Charlottetown branch, absorbing as much knowledge as I could on the day-to-day operations of the business,” he said. He still works closely with one mentor today.

He began in Sales Support, then moved into Operations for two years with the Trucking Division, where he gained valuable logistics experience during a period of significant operational growth. He then returned to Sales, where he now works directly with growers and continues to manage field spreading equipment in eastern Prince Edward Island.

He enjoys working directly with customers throughout the growing season. From developing fertilizer blends to coordinating timely spreading in the busy spring period, he thrives in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility.

“In the spring, I enjoy the pressure and logistics of ensuring all our customers get the required fertilizer and lime spread by Cavendish Agri’s equipment on time, prior to planting,” he said. He also enjoys guiding summer students and finds it rewarding to see their development and enthusiasm year after year.

Looking back, he is proud of the strong relationships he has built and connections he has made across the region. He believes that success comes from staying connected, staying curious and embracing the people side of the work.

“Over the years you develop strong professional relationships and enjoy working with customers and their families,” he said.

Brent is eager to keep supporting growers through the challenges and opportunities of an ever-changing industry and to continue helping them achieve success.
