Cavendish Farms celebrates another memorable season opening at the Charlottetown Festival

Cavendish Farms is proud to be the returning Title Sponsor of the Charlottetown Festival, celebrating the opening of two unforgettable shows filled with community, talent and East Coast pride.

The season kicked off with the return of the heartwarming story of Anne of Green Gables. The Canadian classic follows a red-haired orphan named Anne Shirley and her captivating imagination as she navigates life on Prince Edward Island.

New to the stage this year is Come From Away, based on a true story of a small town in Newfoundland that welcomed the world on September 11, 2001. Filled with East Coast hospitality and spirit, it celebrates the trust, gratitude and friendships that emerged through unprecedented circumstances.

At the opening of each show, the Cavendish Farms Fry Wagon was on-site, serving up Canada’s favourite French fries in addition to sponsored activations that included an immersive 360-degree photobooth and signature fry bar.

Since 1965, the Charlottetown Festival has been Atlantic Canada’s largest theatre festival, dedicated to creating new Canadian works and celebrating the country’s vibrant musical theatre scene. Cavendish Farms is honoured to support this legacy and be part of a community that values storytelling, creativity and shared experiences.

Congratulations to the dedicated casts and crews for bringing these stories to life.
