From Northern New Brunswick to Cape town Nova Scotia, JDI sponsors great festivals that promise an unforgettable summer filled with music, art and fun. Boxcar Music Festival:

This year, the Boxcar Music Festival is happening at the Area 506 Container village on the Saint John waterfront. Being the highlight of this season, the festival will be featuring a lineup of top Canadian country music artists. The festival is to take place on Friday and Saturday, July 28 and 29.

 Annual Grand Lake JDI Fishing Derby:

J.D. Irving, Limited is once again proud to sponsor the Annual Grand Lake JDI Fishing Derby. With over $8,000 in prizes, this collaborative competition brings together avid fishermen from all over New Brunswick to catch the biggest fish in four categories. This year's event will take place on Saturday, July 29 from 8am-2pm on Grand Lake in central New Brunswick. Rendezvous des Artistes: 

The town of Saint-Leonard, New Brunswick is once again hosting Rendezvous des Artistes, their annual artist symposium, for the 19th year in a row. Over 100 painters and sculptors gather each year to showcase their talent and wares, and you can also enjoy a terrace equipped for refreshments and musical groups who play throughout the weekend. The event this year is taking place August 18-20, 2023.

Atlantic Balloon Fiesta:

The 36th annual Atlantic Balloon Fiesta will be taking place September 7-10, 2023, at Princess Louise Park in Sussex, New Brunswick. Every year, over 100,000 visitors participate in this free, three-day event, which includes hot air balloon viewing and rides, craft markets, food trucks and a fair. J.D. Irving, Limited is proud to be a major corporate sponsor again this year with new signs, swag, a donation of logs, an educational harvesting simulator display and more.

The annual Bowl for Kids' Sake Fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Moncton:

This June, the Moncton Companies hosted the annual Bowl for Kids' Sake Fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Moncton. Featuring lawn bowling at the Centennial Lawn Bowling Club with an enjoyable family-friendly experience which was packed with surprises, laughs and lasting memories.

The Philippine Fiesta!:

On June 24, Irving Shipbuilding was proud to sponsor The Philippine Fiesta! The Philippine Fiesta is an annual event hosted by the Filipino Cultural Society of Nova Scotia. Numerous Filipino communities and local Filipino restaurants participated in this event. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness and celebrate Filipino culture. In addition to a variety of food and clothing vendors, the event included games for children, a fashion show and musical and cultural performances. 

United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick Day of Caring:

Day of Caring is a day to create impact and change across Southeastern NB! Volunteers complete meaningful, hands-on projects that will support local organizations in our communities. Projects vary from gardening to construction and everything in between! On June 9, 190 J. D. Irving, Limited employees participated across 19 locations.
