Kent Homes donates to Greater Moncton Music Festival

Kent Homes, a manufacturer of modular homes in Atlantic Canada, is helping to encourage and foster musical talent in young musicians through a $5,000 donation to the Greater Moncton Music Festival (GMMF).

The festival offers amateur musicians aged six through 24 a platform to showcase their musical abilities across categories ranging from voice and piano to strings.

Last year, 100 students were awarded cash prizes, and participants frequently go on to earn accolades at the provincial and national level.

"We are thrilled to support the Greater Moncton Music Festival and its mission to nurture young musicians," said Jeremy Maxwell, General Manager of Kent Homes. "Music plays a vital role in our communities and culture, and we are proud to contribute to an event that celebrates emerging talent."

The GMMF relies on donations to cover operating costs and prize funds, requiring a minimum of $30,000 annually that is raised through donors and community partners.

The 2024 festival took place from April 15 to 25.

The Modular Advantage

Kent Homes manufactures its units in an assembly line with the help of a team including skilled tradespeople, engineers, designers, sales and marketing staff, administrators, and more. Modules are constructed in an indoor, climate-controlled facility using environmentally friendly products and building practices that minimize waste. This allows Kent Homes to complete projects on time and within budget.
