Rachel MacDonald is wrapping up her first work-term with JDI. Over the summer, she has been working with our Corporate Human Resources team as an HR Coordinator. "My manager truly cares that I enjoy the work I am doing and that I make an impact while I am here," says Rachel when asked about her experience this summer. 

A Rothesay, NB native, Rachel is headed back to the classroom this fall at Toronto Metropolitan University, where she is studying Business Management. "The experience I have gained over the summer has made me feel excited to get back to the classroom where I will be able to use the skills I have learned in the workforce and apply them to my classes."

As the HR Coordinator, Rachel has gained experience across the JDI businesses. In this role, she has been responsible for coordinating student events, on campus recruitment and working with universities and colleges to maximize exposure of our student recruitment efforts. She has also been gaining valuable insight into the world of Human Resources.
