RST and Sunbury Transport Recognized for ninth Consecutive Year as Top Fleet Employers of Distinction

RST Transport and Sunbury Transport, both J.D. Irving, Limited trucking companies, have once again been named Top Fleet Employers of Distinction by Trucking HR Canada, marking their ninth consecutive year receiving this national recognition.

The Top Fleet Employer initiative recognizes fleets across Canada that demonstrate exceptional leadership in human resources through strong workplace culture, meaningful employee engagement, competitive compensation and innovative approaches to training and professional development. RST and Sunbury have proudly earned this distinction since 2018.

“This ninth straight recognition is a reflection of the people who bring our operations to life every day,” said Don Bonnell, General Manager of RST Transport. “From our drivers and owner operators to our office teams, it’s their professionalism, care for one another and commitment to safety that continue to set RST apart. The Top Fleet Employer designation is highly regarded within the trucking industry and is awarded through a rigorous evaluation process. Fleets are assessed on a range of criteria, including recruitment and retention strategies, workplace culture, compensation and benefits, training and skills development and forward-thinking HR practices.
