RST celebrates 1 year no recordable injury

RST has gone 365 days without a single recordable injury thanks to the entire team's ongoing commitment to safety.

Stephen Lisson has been with RST for the past 20 years and has been a key member of the RST safety team for the last 13. Most recently he's worked with a handful of drivers to set up their clearance to haul a product out of a local producer's facility.

"For me, safety means everyone going home at the end of the day," said Stephen.

Stéphane Harvey joined the RST team in a safety role in 2020. Some of his time is spent staying connected with stakeholders to stay up to date on safety protocols and ensuring RST drivers have the most up to date information possible when loading and unloading product.

Safety is very important to me," says Stéphane. "I have a mandate to make sure that my team works safely on every shift and they always return safe."

Safety is one of eight core values at RST and remains at the forefront thanks to the drivers, chemical handlers, marine supervisors, emergency response teams and the in-field and office staff.
