Last week, RST-Sunbury’s place among the best fleets across Canada was re-affirmed when it received its second Top Fleet Employer Award, bestowed annually by Trucking HR Canada. RST-Sunbury first received the award in 2018.

Office staff at RST-Sunbury’s Saint John headquarters celebrated the win last week.

The Top Fleet designation is highly regarded in the industry, and selection criteria is rigorous. Each business is evaluated through interviews with company drivers, owner operators and staff; these interviews touch on recruitment and retention practices, workplace culture, compensation, training and skills development, and innovative HR practices. This process is overseen by a newly created Top Fleet Employers Council to ensure an accurate reflection of HR issues, trends and current working environments.

Trucking HR Canada will recognize all award recipients during its annual Gala Awards Dinner being held on October 17th, 2019 at the Palais Royale in Toronto. Awards will be presented to the Top Fleet Employers in each category (top small, medium, large and private fleet).
