Cavendish Farms Statement - Potato Tampering
NEW ANNAN, PEI – Cavendish Farms has reported the detection of sewing needles in potatoes harvested in 2014. The needles were detected during the course of normal production of French fries at our New Annan Plant #1 on Prince Edward Island on December 27 and 28, 2014.
