On Saturday, October 4, J.D. Irving, Limited celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the official grand opening of its Grande Riviѐre Sawmill in Saint-Leonard, New Brunswick.  

Over 950 people attended the celebration, including employees and their families, retired employees, suppliers, and contractors.  Attendees enjoyed activities, lunch, and an opportunity to tour the sawmill in operation. 
 
Jim Irving, Co-CEO, and Gaston Poitras, Vice President of Sawmills, addressed the crowd, thanking the employees and community for the success of the mill.
