Celebrating the United Way’s 2020 Campaign Awards

 

Despite the challenges of 2020, United Way Saint John, Kings and Charlotte County raised more than $1.7 million to help people in the community. 

J.D. Irving, Limited is proud to be a community partner. With an employee-led donation of close to $55,000, our team's efforts in 2020 made a real difference.

Irving Wallboard was recognized with the Spirit of United Way award for their increase in funds raised - enabling the United Way to support programs and organizations like Sistema, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Teen Resource Centre.

Tracy Kilpatrick of Irving Paper is one of the amazing employees who helps raise funds for the United Way each year. This year she once again received the Outstanding Campaign Volunteer award for showing creativity, enthusiasm, and leadership in running an inspirational United Way campaign. Congratulations, Tracy!

Every year, J.D. Irving, Limited employees go above and beyond to raise funds in support of the United Way. We believe supporting the communities where we live and work is the core of a strong business and despite fundraising efforts looking different this year, our commitment to the United Way has never wavered.
