Deadline for JDI NB Scholarship Applications is March 1, 2015

J.D. Irving, Limited and the University of New Brunswick are currently accepting applications for the JDI NB Scholarships until March 1, 2015.  The scholarships will be awarded for the first time in May 2015 and include:

  • Two incoming first-year UNB students will be awarded renewable JDI NB Scholarships valued at $32,000 each.
  • Two students in each of the second, third and fourth years of study will be awarded renewable scholarships valued at $8,000 each.

The programs eligible for the scholarships include the following:

UNB Fredericton

  • Bachelor of Business Administration
  • Bachelor of Computer Science
  • Bachelor of Information Systems
  • Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science in Forestry
  • Bachelor of Environment & Natural Resources
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering

UNB Saint John

  • Bachelor of Business Administration
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
  • Bachelor of Information Sciences
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering

The scholarships are funded from a $1 million gift made in 2007 by J.D. Irving, Limited to UNB that will allow the most talented students to apply themselves more fully to their course work and to better prepare for their future careers.
