3. 1889 to Today; Historical Timeline of the Halifax Shipyard 

During WWII, the first women are recruited in trades positions at the Halifax Shipyard due to a shortage of labour. A special 480-hour welding program is set up at the Nova Scotia Technical College to train the women. More historical highlights on pages 4-5.

100% LED lighting uses 75% less energy than traditional lighting.
