Another milestone has been reached for Irving Shipbuilding's Ultra Hall Production Building, which is under construction at Halifax Shipyard.  On November 4, 2014, video camera drones captured the first day of installation of two new bridge cranes, which will be used to lift large blocks and mega modules during ship assembly. Each crane will lift up to 200 tonnes.

Irving Shipbuilding’s more than $300M investment will create the most modern shipyard in North America to build Canada’s new Naval combat vessels starting in September 2015.
