J.D. Irving, Limited’s Pulp & Paper Division is happy to be celebrating its employees and their families throughout December, helping newcomers like the Castro family feel at home this holiday season. 

Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Jesus Castro relocated to Saint John, New Brunswick in February of 2023 alongside his wife and two-year-old son. An experienced data analyst with a master's degree in business management, Jesus joined the team at Irving Forest Services as a data analytics specialist. 

“Working with Irving Forest Services has been a rewarding experience. The work continues to challenge me and help me grow as a professional and at the same time, I am having fun while doing it,” says Castro. 

As the Castro family looks towards celebrating their first Canadian holiday season, they will be continuing their classic family traditions. From watching the fireworks on New Year’s Eve to enjoying homemade Peruvian recipes, the Castro family is excited to call Canada home this holiday season.
