February 8, 2021 is a record breaker across all J.D. Irving, Limited companies. It's the day that Irving Wallboard celebrates 6 years without a Lost-Time Accident (LTA). That's over 52,500 hours of keeping one another safe.

"There are 105 reasons to celebrate this milestone and each is a person who works here. We are like a family, we look out for one another and come to work every day with safety as our top priority. We have continued to serve our customers with dedication and hard work, all while chasing safety milestones like this one. Thank you to my team who made this happen!," said Jenna Hazelton, General Manager of Atlantic Wallboard.

The team at Irving Wallboard takes their safety seriously and were profiled by WorkSafe New Brunswick for their Safety Superstar campaign in December 2020.

"Since I started here in 2011 I have seen an incredible change in the safety culture of this plant and I am confident that we will continue to build on what we are doing today. These 6 years we are celebrating is by no means an easy task and has only continued to succeed because of the people who work here," says Cayden Moore, Safety Co-Ordinator at Irving Wallboard.
