Irving Woodlands LLC was proud to sponsor the Small Woodland Owners Association of Maine’s 59th annual Forestry Field Day, which was held in September in Vassalboro, Maine.  Miriam Ladd and her husband, the late Abbott Ladd of Belgrade, Maine were honoured as the Outstanding Tree Farmers of the year.

The annual field day helps support and represent the interests of small woodland owners in Maine.

Demonstrations included mechanical logging techniques and best management practices. There were also presentations on forest health and succession planning.
