Customers were lined up first thing in the morning on Saturday, May 18 at the latest new KENT store, which opened in West Saint John.
 
Seventy-seven KENT associates greeted and served hundreds of customers within the first few hours of the grand opening celebration.  Earlier in the week, the associates hosted a contractor night for over 100 contractor customers who visited the store for a tour as well as a commemorative tree planting in honour of the late Floyd Raynes, a long-time contractor sales associate.
 
The new store is a 53,000-square-foot facility under one roof, situated on the corner of Catherwood Drive and Fairville Boulevard.
 
KENT is looking forward to serving more customers with more store openings in 2013, including one in Charlottetown, PEI this summer and another in Moncton in December.  Both are relocations moving from smaller stores to larger facilities.
