Midland Celebrates 66 Million Miles Accident Free. Congratulations and Thanks for Driving Safely!

Every year Midland recognizes and honours our driving professionals who have reached milestones of accident-free driving. Congratulations to our 45 “Million Milers” who received awards for their commitment, dedication and focus on safety in 2018. These professional drivers have combined 66 million accident-free miles!

Awards for local and highway drivers of the year were also given to drivers who exemplify all the qualities of a professional Midland driver. 

This year’s award winners are: 
2018 Local Driver of the Year Award

Roy Gallant of Caledon, Ontario.

2018 Highway Driver of the Year Award

Léon Maillet from Saint-Thomas-de-Kent, New Brunswick.

Four Million Miles Accident Free or 40 Years Accident Free

Fernard Levasseur of Saint Basile, New Brunswick, known as “Flute” by his colleagues, achieved four million miles accident free after 38 years of dedication. Recognized for his good sense of humour, Levasseur continues to love what he does at the age of 72.

Three Million Miles or 30 years Accident Free

After 31 years, Hector Leiva of Coldwater, Ontario achieved 30 years accident free! Leiva is well-respected by his colleagues, customers and friends, and is recognized for his limitless integrity. 

Two Million Miles or 20 Years Accident Free
