Moncton, N.B. - For the 5^th consecutive year, Midland has been named a Top Fleet Employer from Trucking HR Canada. Top Fleet Employers is a national program that recognizes the importance of having sound Human Resource policies and practices in the trucking and logistics industry. Being named a Top Fleet Employer provides recognition for companies who meet HR standards of excellence.

Companies who have been recognized for a minimum of 5 years are honoured with the Top Fleet Employers of Distinction status - Midland Transport was among the recipients of the 5-year honour for 2020.

The Top Fleet designation is highly regarded in the industry. The process is guided by the Top Fleet Council to ensure an accurate reflection of HR issues, trends and current working environments. Interviews are conducted with company drivers, owner operators, office and terminal staff. Areas of evaluation are recruitment and retention practices, workplace culture, compensation, training and skills development.
