Supporting Young Talent in New Brunswick

J.D. Irving, Limited is a proud supporter of the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra (NBYO).  The orchestra is made up of 83 young musicians from 15 communities across New Brunswick.

JDI is pleased to sponsor NBYO's "Keeping Faith/Gardons Espoir" concert, which commemorates the centenary of The Great War.  The concert, conducted by Antonio Delgado, will include Kevin Lau’s moving composition “A Dream of Dawn” and timeless classics by Borodin, Ravel, and Shostakovich.

Eighty-three members of the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra from 15 communities across the province


"Our mission is to inspire excellence among children and youth through the learning and performance of orchestral music," said Ken MacLeod, President/CEO of the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra.  “Now in our 50th year, that is happening at unprecedented levels, with more than 700 young people involved in our programs, more than a dozen orchestras, and more than 10,000 patrons who will attend our performances this season.  It is the support of generous partners like JDI that makes this happen."

Veterans and members of the Canadian Legion will be invited to the concert as honoured guests.
