The 2013 Tree Planting Season is Approaching. Apply Now!

We are currently seeking tree planters for the 2013 planting season in Chipman, Sussex, Quispamsis, Moncton, and Sackville, NB.

Responsible forest management is vital to the long-term sustainability of the environment and the economy.

For over 50 years, J.D. Irving, Limited has invested annually in tree planting.  Since the beginning of our tree planting program in 1957, we have planted over 940 million trees - a national record in Canada!   We plant various species of trees, and these trees are planted according to their preferred ecological environment.

This year we are planning to hire 90 student tree planters in southern & central New Brunswick.  Together with our contract crews, we are going to plant approximately 24,000,000 seedlings this year.

Tree planters report to a crew chief and are paid based on the number of trees planted.  The more you plant, the more you earn.  The ideal candidate will work in a team environment and have the following qualities:
