Halifax Shipyard recently hosted a tour for 75 women taking the Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) program called "Women Unlimited".  The group visited the shipyard to learn more about employment opportunities in the shipbuilding industry.

The tours of the yard facilities were led by women who work at Irving Shipbuilding.  The shipyard employees fielded questions from the students about working at Irving Shipbuilding and what it was like being a woman in the skilled trades' workforce in general.  The women shared their stories as shipyard workers and talked about how they got to where they are today.
