RST and Sunbury win Women in the Workplace award

RST and Sunbury Transport have been honoured with Trucking HR Canada’s Achievement of Excellence Award for Women in the Workplace.

RST and Sunbury Transport have proudly been recipients of Trucking HR Canada’s Top Fleet Employers award since 2018. This year, the team was further recognized with the Women in the Workplace award, celebrating their ongoing commitment to gender equality and inclusive practices.

This award is presented to a fleet that demonstrates leadership in supporting women in the workplace, ensuring representation, opportunity and a culture of inclusion.

“We’re honoured to be recognized for the steps we’ve taken so far toward employee equity,” says Stacey Miller, Human Resource Director at RST-Sunbury. “We know that inclusion and equality are not just policies – they’re a mindset.”

As part of its Belonging and Inclusion Committee, the team proudly leads the Women Driving Forward initiative. This employee-led program empowers women across the business to connect, share and grow as leaders in the transportation and logistics industry. The portfolio includes annual donations to a local women’s shelter, seminars focused on supporting women in the workforce and group book discussions that foster learning and dialogue.
